Cultural/Historical Perspectives
History is the study of the rise and evolution of societies and civilizations. The transfer major in History provides the education and critical thinking skills for students to pursue a wide range of careers, such as education, museum work, and government. Political Science is the study of governments, public policies, and political processes. The transfer major in Political Science teaches both the humanistic and social scientific perspectives to examine the government, power, and resources are allocated in societies throughout the world.
The Transfer Majors in History and Political Science are for students interested in transferring to a four-year institution with a related major.
