Supply Chain and Logistics, AAS

Supply Chain & Logistics AAS graduates will be prepared to enter the job market with the skills to perform a variety of job functions in the Supply Chain and Logistics field. Supply Chain and Logistics professionals are responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including procurement, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing and distribution, operations, customer service and reverse logistics.

Graduates will learn how to fulfill customer demands, improve an organization’s responsiveness, develop a value for the customer, create network resiliency and encourage financial success in a global economy. Graduates will be introduced to a variety of information technologies and learn how to use data analytics within successful supply chains.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the Supply Chain and Logistics program, students will be able to:

  1. Describe the relationship between Supply Chain Management and other functional organizational areas including Sales and Marketing, Finance, Trade and Compliance, Human Resources and Information Technology.
  2. Plan the efficient handling and movement of goods, services, materials and related information within and between supply chains.
  3. Utilize available technologies to enhance work performance and support supply chain functions, processes, transactions and communications.
  4. Participate in the identification and management of continuous improvements to functions and processes within and between supply chains.
  5. Apply leadership and communication skills to establish and manage strategic relationships with diverse stakeholders.
