Community Dental Health Coordinator, Certificate

Campus: Scott Community College

The focus of the Certificate in Community Dental Health Coordinator (CDHC) program is to provide students with the practical and theoretical basis for assisting in the reduction of disparities in dental health. Course topics include advocacy, intercultural communication, finance, dental health coordination, documentation, reporting procedures, and legal and ethical issues.

To apply to the Community Dental Health Coordinator program students must be a Registered Dental Hygienist or Certified Dental Assistant.  Upon application, documentation of licensure or certification according to their individual state’s dental practice must be provided.
