Turf and Landscape, AAS

Campus: Muscatine Community College

The Turf and Landscape AAS will provide students with the knowledge and skills to enter professional careers that include: golf and sports turf management, landscape design, landscape installation, grounds maintenance, lawn care, garden center management and other green industry related careers. Educational diversity within the curriculum creates career and technical advantages. During the third semester, additional value for students is created for hands on learning in a summer of paid on the job training. As a member of the National Professional Agriculutral Student Organization (PAS) and National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) organization, the program offers students an opportunity to travel and compete nationally in competitive events and participate in networking and leadership opportunities.
