This course blends basic technical principles with laboratory practice that involves realistic devices used by technicians in their everyday work. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Demonstrate mastery of U.S.-to-metric converstions and metric-to-U.S. conversions.
Combine technology and physical quantities to perform measurements, compute results and report laboratory results.
Analyze energy, power and work across the electrical, fluid, mechanical and other industrial systems.
Assess critical thinking skills to analyze physical properties.
