This course explores the ethical, legal, and social implications of artificial intelligence (AI) systems, emphasizing responsible AI development and governance. Students will critically examine foundational AI ethics principles, data privacy issues, algorithmic bias, surveillance technologies, and the societal impact of autonomous systems. Special attention will be given to global regulatory frameworks, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and emerging national AI policies.
