HIT 535 - Leadership

This course provides an overview of supervision and management activities in a health information management department. Emphasis is placed on activities relating to planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and budgeting in a health information management department. Topics include leadership and organizational skills, human resources supervision and management principles and practices, and financial and strategic planning.

Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C- in HIT 415 HIT 422 , and HIT 485
