AVR 120 - AVR Programming and Simulations I Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 2.00 Lab Hours: 2.00 This course covers the design and development of computer games and simulations on various platforms including Windows, Mac, Android, Tablet. Students will focus on learning the appropriate scripting language for the game engine. The course also includes the implementation of user interface, animation, VR toolkit and software development techniques. Students will use industry standard development tools. This course replaces CIS 222.
SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe the fundamentals of programming.
- Practice proper programming techniques.
- Demonstrate game and simulation development within game engine software.
- Create games and simulations using project based learning.
