SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Apply basic math principles in culinary contexts by accurately performing fundamental mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
- Construct and use basic Excel spreadsheets for culinary calculations.
- Calculate basic food costs and analyze profit margins.
- Convert recipes accurately based on yield requirement, ensuring consistency in portion size and ingredient ratios.
