Students will reflect on how their personal perspectives shape their teaching practices and explore how recognizing and understanding student differences can enhance instructional effectiveness.   • Review the development of educational approaches that address varied student backgrounds in the United States.
  • Differentiate among major educational theories related to teaching students from varied backgrounds.
  • Identify the opportunities and challenges that arise in classrooms influenced by global communication and interconnected communities.
