This course allows students to focus on their individual career targets, while developing successful lifetime job search skills and career management tools. Students will also learn job search techniques, such as completing employment applications, preparing letters of application and resumes, and participating in a mock interview. No
SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Analyze their occupational qualifications and relative to appropriate career options.
- Use online resources to support an effective job search.
- Prepare a professional resume, cover letter, and employment application.
- Research prospective employers and career fields.
- Demonstrate professional communication during simulated recuritment and selection processes.
