ART 157 - Printmaking

This is an introductory printing course with emphasis in basic printmaking techniques and processes. Students will pursue proficiency in woodblock and dry point printing methods. Students will be expected to print a minimum of one hour per week outside of class.

Carve a woodblock matrix.
Print a woodblock matrix.
Successfully use printing press.
Prepare dry point matrix.
