This course will teach students about the operation, repair, and maintenance of farm equipment, with special emphasis on diesel engine performance. The focus of study will be on diesel engines and components, fuel systems, electronic and performance enhancement technologies, and hydraulic systems.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Use tools safely for equipment repair and maintenance.
Explain the factors and forces of diesel engine operation.
Diagnose diesel engine performance problems.
