A 9 - Adjunct Instructor Salary Schedule

The following guidelines apply to all credit adjunct instructors:

Pay based upon previous total credit hours taught:

$700 per credit hour for Adjunct Instructor
$1,000 per credit hour for EICCD Retirees serving as Adjunct Instructors
$1000 per credit hour for EICCD current faculty serving as Adjunct Instructors over the Summer Term
$1000 per credit hour for Clinical, IT, & AVR Adjunct Instructors

If a class is designated as tuition-generated, the adjunct instructor will be paid based on tuition received up to a maximum of $700 per credit hour taught. For classes with less than 5 students, tuition income will be based on the current in-state tuition rate of one credit hour multiplied by the number of credit hours of the class multiplied by the number of students.

Wages due are to be determined by the enrollment at the end of the second week of each term. Changes due to enrollment increases or decreases will not be made after the second week.
