PE 411 - Substitutes

Personnel serving on a substitute or temporary basis in faculty positions for the Eastern Iowa Community College District shall whenever possible meet the criteria required by current law and by regulations of the Higher Learning Commission and any other appropriate accrediting body for the positions which they are to fill. Every effort shall be made to fill temporary positions with substitutes who have preparation equal to that of the regular contract personnel. In the event that such persons are not available, the employment of personnel who are not properly in compliance is authorized on a purely substitute or temporary basis.
