PE 407 - Evaluation


The administrative staff shall continuously evaluate the services of the professional and support personnel of the district and shall submit such evaluations in writing to the employee and Executive Officer in such manner and at such times as may be determined by the Executive Officer.

Evaluation criteria for instructional faculty positions shall be as follows:

 

  1. Instructional Competencies
  2. Professional Development
  3. Responsibility to College

Evaluation criteria for other positions shall be job-specific and will consist of the position duties and responsibilities as listed on the job description.

Probationary employees will receive a review at the conclusion of their probationary period. Work will be observed by a supervisor during the probationary period. Prior to regular appointment, the employee’s performance will be evaluated.

Evaluations shall be considered information personal to the individual and shall be kept in the employee’s confidential personnel records along with any Performance Improvement Plan documentation. Evaluations may be made available on an “as needed” basis to the employee’s supervisors and to the Human Resources Department.
