Introduction to Organic and Biochemistry is a continuation of CHM 122 - Introduction to General Chemistry and aromatic compounds, their chemistry and uses in consumer products will be discussed. Example compounds include polymers, drugs and foods. Attention is also given to biologically important compounds: proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates and lipids and the chemistry of these molecules in the living organism. 59.4 Lec.
