ASL 181 - American Sign Language II

This course is designed to teach interpersonal communication skills utilizing conversational ASL. Introduction of American Deaf cultural beliefs, values and attitudes, and an appreciation of perspectives and contributions of Deaf Americans in the areas of arts and history will be included. This course will prepare students to use ASL both in and outside of the classroom via interaction with the Deaf Community, establishing a foundation for lifelong language learning. 79.2 Lec.
