RDG 033 - Introduction to College Reading

This course is designed to assist the student whose present reading level is not sufficiently developed to meet the recommended college level assignments. Emphasis will be on improving comprehensive reading skills as well as reading rate and general vocabulary. This course is required of students whose diagnostic or assessment scores indicate a need for supplemental work in reading. Satisfactory completion of course material and/or significant improvement on the reading post-test must be met to earn a passing grade.
