Exploration of areas of human health. Topics include emotional health, chemical alteration of behavior, human sexuality, personal health care, disease, and health in society.

SLOs:
Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

  • To promote student interest and, particularly, action in seeking solutions to the major health issues of our time.

  • To recognize that in our technologically advanced society, the environment is essentially man-mad, and to seek solutions to environmentally induced illness through informed citizen action.

  • To provide information that will enable students to identify their major health needs and establish a plan of action to meet these needs.
