This course will teach students how to evaluate, design, construct, and maintain web pages and websites. Topics include: HyperText Markup Language (HTML5), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS3), JavaScript, graphics, and animation.

SLOs:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate the coding of HTML5 pages using tables, columns, and forms.
  • Demonstrate the styling of a basic webpage with CSS3.
  • Demonstrate the use of Javascript for interactive web pages.
  • Design web pages using responsible web design.
  • Demonstrate the coding of American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliant web pages.
  • Demonstrate website maintenance.
