Graduation Requirements

To be a candidate for graduation, you must complete specific course requirements for a degree, diploma, or certificate with a minimum program cumulative GPA of 2.00. You must take 16 of your last 32 semester hours or half of the final 50% of credit hours (whichever is less) at one of the colleges in the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (Clinton, Muscatine, or Scott Community College).

NOTE: Be sure to submit an Intent to Graduate application within the first five days of your final semester. Contact the Registrar’s Office for specific details.

All financial obligations to the college must be met as a requirement for graduation.

Graduation Ceremony

This ceremony is held in a designated location at the end of the spring semester. Students completing graduation requirements in the fall or summer session may participate in the May commencement exercises. You must complete the application procedures to receive a diploma and have your degree awarded on your transcripts. Application deadlines will be posted on each campus.

NOTE: An Intent to Graduate application form is available in the Registrar’s office, as well as the EICC website.
