Scott Community College

Foundation

The Scott Community College Foundation provides financial resources that support student scholarships and our college community.

Each year the SCC Foundation receives generous gifts from the Scott Community College Foundation Board members, our faculty and staff members, area businesses and organizations, and many other friends. Some of these gifts enable us to offer scholarships to a number of our deserving students. Others help us acquire new instructional equipment or launch special projects. The Foundation also supports SCC employees through the Outstanding Full-Time Employee and Outstanding Part-time Employee Awards.

The Scott Community College Foundation reaches out to help students at several locations in the Quad Cities including those at the Urban Campus, Blong Technology Center, West Davenport Center and its main Belmont Campus.

For more information, contact the Foundation Office at 563-441-4063.

Each July, Davenport is host to thousands of runners and music enthusiasts who come from all over the United States and the world to participate in the annual Bix Beiderbeck Jazz Festival and the Bix 7 mile run. The area is home to the John Deere Golf Classic PGA Tournament, Class A Quad Cities River Bandits baseball team, the SPHL Quad City Storm hockey team, and the Arena Football League 2 Quad City Steamwheelers.
