The Health Information Technology (HIT) Diploma is a 38 credit hour award that ladders into the HIT AAS degree. The diploma can be completed in 3 terms. The HIT program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). Students completing the HIT diploma are eligible to sit for the national certification exam - Certification Coding Specialist-Physician Based (CCS-P). Students completing the HIT diploma will be eligible for entry level positions in a physician’s office.

The Health Information Technology Associate degree program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).
