HIT 380 - Health Records in Alternate Care Settings

This course is a continuation of HIT 370 - Health Records in Acute Care. Students will take a look at the entire continuum of health care delivery systems. Alternative care settings including ambulatory care, long-term care, home health, hospice, and mental health will be studied along with their respective licensing and accrediting standards, documentation issues, and reimbursement methodologies. 59.4 Lec. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C- in HIT 370.
