This course introduces dental biofilm and its role in dental disease. The role that nutrition plays regarding disease initiation and progression and the methods and preventative agents utilized by the auxiliary to prevent oral disease will be emphasized. 39.6 Lec. Hrs.

Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C in DEA 254, DEA 295, DEA 302, DEA 405, and DEA 512
