CRJ 230 - Evidence Credit(s) 3.00 Lecture Hours: 3.00 This course traces the nature and development of evidence law and its role in the criminal justice system. The student will be introduced to concepts such as direct and circumstantial evidence, relevancy, hearsay, character evidence and the various privileges that exist in evidence law. In addition, the student will learn how to present evidence in a courtroom both from a lawyer’s examination and from a witness’s testimony.
