NET 298 - Networking II

This course describes the architecture, components and operations of routers and switches in a small network. Students will learn how to configure a router and a switch for basic functionality. Students will configure and troubleshoot routers and switches and resolve common issues with Routing Information Protocol (RIP), single-area and multi-area Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), virtual Local Area Networks (LANs) and inter-Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) routing in both Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) and Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) networks. 79.2 Lec.
