This is a survey course in Western Civilization from the Renaissance through the Age of Democratic Revolutions. The civilizational components of religion, philosophy, literature, art, science and architecture are integrated into the political and social history of Europe, from about 1450 to the end of the eighteenth century. 59.4 Lec.
