This course will introduce students to the appropriate software for working with bitmap images. Image acquisition by scanning, manipulation for tonal and color correction as well as retouching and image output to print and web formats as it applies to Graphic Arts industry will be emphasized. 39.6 Lec. Prerequisite(s): MAT:073 or minimum math placement based on college assessment.
