This is an entry-level course in the acquisition of basic grammatical rules and structures necessary for using English as a second language. Emphasis is placed on practicing structure in context and developing communicative competence. This course is designed to be taken with Listening Comprehension, Speaking, Reading and Writing as part of an intensive English program for non-native speakers.
