This course introduces students to the Java programming language using its Object Oriented Programming features. Students learn how to use existing and create their own classes and objects and develop solutions to common real world-based problems using applications developed in Java. Students will also learn to create interactive elements and GUI elements. The use of the java. awt library components, event-handling model, containers and layout managers will also be emphasized.
